Connecting the Undocumented Struggle Across Borders

Sonoma State University, Student Center Ballroom B

Maggie Loredo, Claudia Amaro, Viridiana Vargas (via Skype), and Jill Anderson (via Skype) will present the book at Sonoma State University. In addition to sharing their stories and those of thousand of others, they will highlight the all too ordinary, daily injustices behind uncontested aspects of US immigration law such as the automatic ten-year bans for "illegal presence" and the less than transparent discretion of US Embassy officers to apply them or not. They will focus on the opportunities and the challenges to legal international mobility for Dreamers in Mexico.
